As some of you may know, Dark0ne, the person who made the Elder Scrolls modsite, The Elder Scrolls Source, a success, recently decided he wanted to go his own way and have full control of the site. He started up The Elder Scrolls Database to that end, but, due to legal issues, it had to be taken down.
Dark0ne has, however, announced a new modsite-- The Elder Scrolls Nexus-- is in the works. So far the site is looking pretty good. And, with Dark0ne in charge, I have no doubt it will be a fan favorite in no time.
In a recent meeting with his ex-partner they've came to an agreement that Dark0ne can legally use the entire file database. This is great news as, normally, when a mod site goes down some mods are lost forever. Now Nexus will have all the files that the Source once had.
Wish Dark0ne luck and read more about it here.
UPDATE
Just minutes ago Dark0ne made this announcement on the Bethesda Game Studios Forums:
"I have big news ... but I'm going to go to bed now. So tune in tomorrow ;)"
What does this mean? We'll all have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
